Roderick "Rod" Hammonds

Roderick Hammonds is a mission strategist, discipleship coach, and founder of Renewed Purpose Ministries, where he equips everyday believers to walk in identity, wholeness, and purpose through the transforming love of Jesus. His passion is helping people break free from the patterns of the world, experience heart-level renewal, and step boldly into God’s calling for their lives.

Roderick’s ministry journey began through deep personal healing. After navigating years of trauma, unhealthy patterns, and spiritual warfare, he experienced a radical renewal of mind and heart. God used that transformation to shape a ministry calling rooted in grace, restoration, and practical discipleship. Roderick later launched both the Mission and Recovery ministries at his church, creating a community where people were healed, equipped, and mobilized into their God-given purpose.

Today, Roderick serves as a missions director, discipleship coach, and global mobilizer. His work includes developing Simple Church networks, training disciple-makers, and supporting persecuted believers in places like Pakistan and India. He is passionate about raising up leaders through relational discipleship, biblical training, and sustainable mission strategies.

Through Renewed Purpose Ministries, Roderick mentors leaders, strengthens families, and builds multiplying communities that reflect God’s heart — engaging the lost, equipping the believer, empowering the disciple, and expanding the Kingdom.
